- Intrinsically Safe – Enclosures that are Certified Low Voltage, No Spark/No Ignition.
- Explosion-Proof – Enclosures that contain any explosions.
- Purged – Enclosures that feature positive pressure, controlled exhaust, so that no static electricity passes to the exterior atmosphere.
